Volunteer

Volunteers enhance the our ability to provide the support, education, and research that will help everyone impacted by Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest. Roles provided by our volunteers include:

  • Office management support, such as assembling welcome packets
  • Calling or writing a note for a person with Parkinson disease who is homebound or has been admitted to an institution
  • Support group leader
  • Special project and event support
  • Assisting an exercise class instructor

Becoming a Volunteer

We welcome volunteers age 14 and older, although roles for those aged 14-18 are limited. All volunteers are required to complete an application form. Click here to download the volunteer form. Some volunteer roles may require one or more of the following:

– commitment to a minimum number of hours annually
– phone or personal interview
– training or orientation
– background and reference checks
