Illinois Exercise Classes & Programs

Exercise helps manage Parkinson’s symptoms and slow the progression of the disease. Group exercise classes encourage regular participation in a fun environment. The American Parkinson Disease Foundation is funded solely by individual donations and grants. Classes are offered free of charge for people with Parkinson’s, however we ask those who can to donate $20 per month. Unless otherwise noted, classes do not require registration. These classes and programs are designed specifically for people with Parkinson disease and focus on improving balance, posture, functional mobility, speech and self-help skills. Download a description of the different types of classes currently offered by the American Parkinson Disease Association- Greater St. Louis Chapter.

Download the Registration & Liability Waiver to take to your first class.

WINTER WEATHER INFO: For inclement weather, our general rule is to cancel class if the school district is closed where the class is located.  For questions, call the number listed for the class.
